Glykopolis
The concept of this project was highly determined by the particularity of its location inside a commercial arcade, the limited size of the interior, as well as the style of the existing facade. Every decision was made considering the targeted outcome which was the creation of an interior resembling an outdoor space with a new facade behind the existing one. The main purpose was to abolish the severe boundaries between indoor and outdoor, to give the sense of an open space to the customer as well as the provision of stimulating elements that refer aesthetically to the product. Although the allusion to design values that remain constant over time is quite evident the interior design has been infused discretely with contemporary elements. The choices on the materials, color palette, stylistic details as well as the orientation of the graphic design elements were carefully made so as to reflect a unique identity.
